Although I have sometimes done the maximize intentionally, most of the
time it is completely accidental. I use Ctrl-Alt-T to open a new
window and then try to click the "add tab" button a few times to get to
my usual working state ... and I miss the button.

I have the same issue. It started happening when I updated to 22.10. I
attempted to take a screenshot, but PrintScreen doesn't seem to work
when the right click menu is open. I can add any diagnostics you need,
if that would help.
Update: Reinstalling appears to fix the issue.

Hi all,
I'm reviewing this SRU, and was trying to reproduce the issue following
the given test case, but no matter what I try, it just works.
I installed cinnamon 22.10 from the ISO image into a VM, and added a
remote network printer (not wifi, though: wired ethernet). I monitored
