I've managed to get my Lenovo Legion 7 16ACHg6 speakers working on
kernel 5.18.x by setting the following kernel configuration

after today's Kinetic
What is now happening, in any case, is Ubuntu LTS Thunderbird packaging
is lagging behind on important security updates. I think a
consideration of sharing packaging could help this, in my opinion,
unless there is a problem with the arrangement .. may be key
differences in using separate vs.
Todays updates included network-manager 1.40.0-1ubuntu2, and after `apt
autopurge` iwd was removed. This wi-fi network connection is working
again normally since.

1600x1024 resolution which was not able to use on the test unit.
After upgrading to xorg-server 2:21.1.3-2ubuntu2.2 from jammy-proposed,
that resolution is removed from xrandr.
