With 18.04 and inside the regular Xorg Ubuntu session (and the Ambiance theme
selected) the corners of the headerbar/titlebar in firefox 71.0 are not
correctly rendered.
There is a white area "bleeding" out of the rounded border making the window a
square.

Is the issue specific to nautilus? The screenshot includes gnome-system-monitor.
Could you also test on a new Ubuntu version, maybe from a liveCD?

There is corruption in the nautilus file list in the video of comment
#3. Something I have seen before. But this is also xenial so I don't
know if it's been fixed already.
