x86 (kernel 4.2.0-16) connected to a 1360x768 Hyundai IQ television
monitor via a standard VGA cable. In 14.04 (trusty), I can manually set

AFAIK, we have not done anything that changes scale or DPI in Xmir. So

alsamixer app shows a sound card, all chanels enabled.
notebook got a rotary encoder volume wheel that seems to be supported by linux,
since the volume popup/overlay pops up if used. but there is no sound at all.
I just tested the driver playing PORTALS 2 with STEAM on this linux box and it
played perfectly.
I also tried going to the tty with CTRL+F1 and then back to the X session with
CTRL+F7 - all smooth and OK.

Calling GnomeFileManager::Activate() from GnomeFileManager::EmptyTrash()
seems to no longer be necessary and causes Nautilus to open a window at
the user's home

the BIOS update, and the hard freeze is now gone! It's not all working

I ended up with two ubuntu one accounts for some reason, so I tested it in
#108. Both the 16.04 packages and the packages in wily-proposed have fixed the
problem for me. Versions:

Is this bug fixed in Ubuntu 15.10? I'm considering upgrading from 14.04
to 15.10, but I don't want to do it if doing so will require me to

I am using Ubuntu 14.04.3 and Transmission version 2.82-1.1ubuntu3.1.
How to reproduce the bug on my system:
