If 'acpi -v' isn't noticing that the battery is being charged, then the
problem isn't in the indicator's label -- indicator-power gets its
information from upower, so this can't be fixed at the indicator-power
level unless the indicator is showing you something

This bug is unbearable! I had to copy over a copy of loaders.cache to
work around the problem. Otherwise may GTK-based programs simply fail.
I'm probably better off than most since I don't use a graphical desktop
and only run some of the GTK-based programs on remote X server.

Since some weeks ago the Debian maintainer uploaded a new version I
merge it. Looking at the changelog seems a bugfix release, anyway I'm
using it for a week and all is fine.
I hope I can hear a response from the release team soon.

indicator-keyboard suppresses IBus candidate window
... And by that I mean that version of Evolution you mentioned was
probably part of GNOME 3.10 that didn't make it to the repos in time. My
guess is that with 14.04 this will be fixed, so unless a fix is released
inside the repos befire 14.04's release, this is probably invalid.

Do you have a PPA installed? The GNOME version in 13.10 is 3.8 (which
has the bug). That is not a fix to the problem.
