Now the newest version in the official repository (331.38-0ubuntu2) breaks the

I have tried this with the nvidia graphics card 285GTX and with the package

X will not start and only console is left to use.

kubuntu-desktop still incorrectly depends on pm-utils. Upower has been
patched out so as to only use pm-utils and thus upower must declare a
hard dependency on pm-utils

Further testing indicates that the above (#50) solution can be removed
once you have a working system.
Steps:
1. Added
session required pam_loginuid.so
session required pam_systemd.so
to top of /etc/pam.d/
2. Logout, Restart X, Login
3. Check that you can do it all.
4. Remove

Maarten Lankhorst, thanks for commenting towards this. For me, I would
like to have two finger scrolling enabled by default, without having to
disable edge scrolling. As well, I could see why others would prefer the
same thing, over the status quo.
