After update I can't set layout switching with setxkbmap or gnome tweaker.

I should have tried that first -- and a curious thing, as soon as I
deleted the old printer entry, the unprinted test page printed. I did
an aptitude purge of both the cupswrapper and the hl2270dwlpr and then
reinstalled, and now it prints!!

On the 24.0 firefox, this doesn't display. I can download the PDF via
*wget* and then try to open with either *evince* or *firefox*. *evince*
is ok, but *firefox* does not display. I don't know

Since I updated to 13.10, rhythmbox is not usable. After it starts, it
freezes on every mouse click on different panes, sometimes it recovers,
sometimes it stays apparently forever "gray", and the dialog to "wait or
kill" appears.
When I arrive to the point where I can "play"
The run I'm describing eventually "ungrayed" itself, after about 5
minutes. I then pressed "play", and I was unable to stop or change
tracks. I had to mute the sound and wait, as it was still playing. After
several minutes with the UI frozen I press the "window close" button,
and the "Force close"
Since the installation of DKMS does not show any differences (i.e. the systems
sticks on the older alsa driver), I assume, that I did some previous tries too
much. So I will reinstall the System (maybe switch to 13.10) and close this
ticket.
