program I installed, which required this module so as to gain (direct) control
of the parallel port pins (not for printing). It cr

properly, and created /dev/sda accordingly. So far so good. Then I proceeded

The only regression that's left from Hoary now, is that the text under
the icon is a not so sexy: "Generic STORAGE DEVICE: usbdisk", instead of
just, in that case "Camera 64MB", as I labelled it this way.
Should we re-title this bug report, or

The last time that I re-installed Dapper from a flight CD, on hda, I
didn't mount any of the partitions from hdc.
Today I tried to do that. So I created entries in fstab, and created the

just simply removing the icon, like it used to, it keeps the icon, and changes
it for an icon that suggests it considers the local drive as a removable USB

Yes and no... in this bug I was thinking of a way for the program (say Xawtv)
to communicate with metacity.
But it now appears that it's not the best way, and the new bug is about letting
the user, not the program, to control the aspect ratio.

The upstream bug you pointed me to, impled that metacity already had a
way to let a program control teh azspect ratio. Which was exactly the
