Following these guidelines pc return from sleep normaly: To suspend to disk, choose "Hibernate" from the GNOME logout menu. To suspend to RAM, edit /etc/default/acpi-support and uncomment the second line by deleting the # character, to read: ACPI_SLEEP=true Although I still get the brown strip

I'm afraid to say, trouble is back and worse. I can only see this problem as the cause. -Since hibenation worked I continued using it, untill the last time, the error message returned. Since all progrmams worked I ignored it. I did a liitle work, even changing users showed no problems. But then
