The difference is that after doing that even with both devices attached

I just installed Ubuntu 15.04 RTM and almost three years after this
ticket has been opened this problem still persists. It' very hard to use
the OS when it can't properly handle such important thing as the work
with USB-drives.
There is no such issue with Fedora 21, which is also based on Nautilus
I just installed Ubuntu 15.04 RTM, and faced out with multiple problems
with the copying files from HDD to USB flash-drive.
1. Not all files copied! You can't be sure that all what you selected is really
copied.
2. You can delete folders in USB drive (Directory is not empty).
3. The copied files
After a couple of days trying to deal with this bug, I concluded that
this issue is a stop-bug for me. I can't continue using the OS, which is
unreliable with the executing such essential task as file management
especially when this bug is not being treated for the year. Hope to see
this bug fixed
For me it's actually not an «usability problem» but is a stop-bug, which
prevents the usage of Ubuntu at all.
The usage of USB-stick, flash-drive is daily task for me and I can't imagine
that each time I have to use it the OS will cause the problems and will prevent
the usage.
Please, fix it AS
Ubuntu 15.10 is in active development stage, please, try to solve the
issue and let the users use your OS.
For the moment, I see a half-year thread with the complaints, but there
is no official reference to the case.

I connected it and got the failed to lock message, I ignored all popups etc and
opened a terminal and typed the following
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gvfs-mount -l
The program 'gvfs-mount' is currently not installed. You can install it by
typing:
sudo apt-get install g
ok, I did the install and viola! it all works, I think the dependencies
are incorrect and that package is not being installed.

I right clicked on the desktop and created a new empty file, copied the
text in http://dominiklang.ch/gnome-panel-fix and pasted it there, saved
it and renamed it as "gnome-panel-fix".
But when I opened a terminal, navigated to the desktop and ran "sudo

3. Expected to be able to pull folder from tar.bz2 to home, desktop, etc
4. I get an error - When trying to extract tar.bz2 I get a error "An error

I was trying to create an image sprite by embedding a base64 encoded PNG
image into an SVG file. I then applied a greyscale filter over that
image. When I view the SVG in a browser the contents render correctly.
When I use rsvg-convert to create a PNG image the filter is not
