present , this is the default behavior, it would be unnecessary for a submenu
for 1/2 apps.
For example: if a user wants to view a picture he opens with image viewer.

when opening any file in gedit the cpu usage jumps to nearly 100% and
takes a few seconds to start. after the file has opened the CPU usage
