I can by launching gwibber-accounts,click add, select twitter, click
add, click authorize.
This will try to use webkit to open the twitter page, which then
segfaults.

I would second this. Maybe there already is a screensaver that just
displays a floating bitmap, and perhaps this can be used as the default
screensaver with a locally saved Ubuntu logo as the default bitmap.
This is very important for "corporate image" type screensavers. I keep
seeing the Windows
he xscreensaver package because I wanted more
choice regarding the screensaver modules.
Perhaps this can be fixed, or alternatively I would propse the
xscreensaver package to be removed, at least until this is resolved. Not
being able to login after the screensaver activates is a serious bug,
IMHO.

cups-manager". File looks like it should according to my settings:

When trying to rip a file containing a question mark to a fat32 filesystem
(mp3-player) I get the error like "Can't open resouce".
Because of the unclear error message, I first thought it was a problem
reading the disc. Removing the ques

Now using Ubuntu 10.4, 64bit and drivemount-applet shows icons to mount
nfs-shares again.
I'm not not sure when it was fixed, though.

Yes, this is what I did. And I repeated it minutes ago and the picture
disappears again. Not every booting-up, but 1 out of 5 times.
And yes, my system is up to data. System installed on 2010-09-15. Do I
miss anything? Perhaps this is the wrong bug because I don't use any
encrypted home directory

Totem thinks it's playing midi (seek-bar moves), but I can't hear any
sound.
The properties pane says the codec is "-", which I guess means it failed
to detect or load the proper codec?

add sane defaults to /usr/share/readline/inputrc provided by the package
readline-common.

If the gconf key
/apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop
is set to false, gnome-panel fires up thousands of "Starting file manager"
entries in the window list.
The file manager is never started though, but gnome-panel keeps running at 1
Please not that this will lose you most of the translations for the
Google-related log-in screens (Photos and YouTube). but making them
compliant with Google's requirements is one of the major points of that
update

Yes, the overall daily quota of 100k points is exceeded. Not much I can
do at the moment. But please file a ticket regarding the poor user
experience, this should be clearly visible in the UI

That is not an upstream fix. A user contributed that fix and it is for
GNOME's russian translation team to pick that up. When, if or how I
don't know.
