No not anymore. Traced it back to some wrong set access rights in
~/.config/menus/applications-merged/. Not sure yet what caused that.
Although I have it seen on a couple of other machines I administer, but
only on those. So I'm guessing it's something I do or set that changes
the permission of the

When I open the preference menu in F-Spot the option to change the
default photo folder is greyed out and either set to ~/Photos or if that
does not exist to ~/. Sta
Ok finally got my hands on the camera and was able to test this. Works
all perfect now. I think one of the updates to f-spot-import-
gphoto.dpatch fixed this. Anyways it works so it is no longer a problem.
Sadly there is no closed option, so I don't know what to change the
status to.

When I try to connect my Canon Ixus 50 my computer I recieve the
following error:

When I try to use f-spot-import from the console, I get the following:

I added all the debug information I could think off. I have this machine here
to test around to see what possible problems could arise before putting it on
