And I would like to add that, with the addition of compiz in gutsy, it
can sometimes happen that X crashes. In this situation, this bug
happens, you get a warning from nautilus saying that you should kill a
process that you never heard of. And many users don't even know what
killing a process means

"Nautilus can't be used now, due to an unexpected error from Bonobo when
attempting to locate the factory. Killing bonobo-activation-server and
restarting Nautilus may help fix the problem."

Rebooting didn't help, I am not able to restore my settings anymore. If
I open the gnome theme manager, I can see that settings are correct
there, just they aren't being used.

documents hitting ctrl+r, or in the "view" menu, or you can set lyx to
use other viewers such as kdvi that can automatically reload documents.
You have to install kdvi using apt of course in the second case.

As strange as it may look, under lyx if you choose "view pdf" instead of
"update pdf" (or dvi), evince will reload your document. This is because
evince does not open a new window for the same pdf. This works around

To close this bug, nautilus should check free space before trying to
write an image, and pre-allocate the image just like peer-to-peer
programs do in order to avoid running out of disk space while writing. A

In feisty, if one tries to close the window while the program is
blocked, it unblocks and says something like "unable to determine stream
type". I guess this is because it does not get data, but I do not
understand why. By the way in feisty it has stopped to mute capture by
itself, but the deadlock

I didn't notice that it uses readcd externally. It gives the same error
(I changed cd but not the name of the ISO, that's why number of sectors
differs). I even "prevu"-ed wodim, and tried readom, but it's the same,
both logs follow. "dd" seems to give no error but it is hanging at end,
too.
