When running 'apport-cli --hanging $(pidof gnome-shell)' in a ssh shell,
it wants to spawn a browser to login to launchpad.net; since it did not,
I saved the apport and linked it here. After I ran the killall command
and ran the ubuntu-bug command it did not show an ID to link here.

I just tried Ubuntu Budgie 18.04.3 and while it does use entire primary
display on the lock screen, it struggles to use the secondary display at
all while a live system. I would install it next to my Xubuntu
installation and give it a shot to see if I could get I could get it
working properly but I
alsa to pulse that again talks to alsa (kernel)
...when at least mpg123 could talk to pulse directly.
Well, I guess audio on Linux is messy. How's OSS4 doing these days? ;-)

Same problem running Cinnamon 3.4 desktop on Ubuntu 16.04. Different
models show the error more than others. Travelmate B117 only happens on

I'm using 18.04.1, together with gnome flashback (3.28.0-1ubuntu1.3).
For me, night mode only works with one screen, which is the primary
screen. In my case, this is an external screen.
With all 3 screens attached however, night mode however does not work with my
two other monitors:
- one intern
@muktupavels (#127): I do not have this bug in 18.04.1 LTS. My settings
persist over a restart.
One thing I noticed though is that the screens are reset every time when
switching to "Built-In Only" and then "Join Displays" via WindowsKey+p.
A workaround I found for this is to switch back to "Exter
(The issue doesn't seem to me to be serious enough to warrant keeping
the bug private.)

I notice that if I use the mouse to deactivate the screen saver, I do
still see the screen shield, so that appears to be working normally.

My gnome desktop session just segfaulted or somehow crashed. Before the
crash, the desktop session was running for hours, it even survived
several s2ram's during the past days.
I did not have these issues for a long time.
My syslog shows up a lot of errors around the crash,

But in the cases reported here, success could only happen by incident
