Public bug reported:
In empathy (Empathy 3.6.0.3) on Ubuntu 12.10 using gnome 3.6 I can no
longer block spammers from MSN. I can decline their invite but I have no
way to actually select to block them.
Can we not add this option back in again since it was working great in
Ubuntu 12.04?

In Empathy 3.6.0.3) on Ubuntu 12.10 using gnome 3.6 there isn't any way
to auto-connect or see the channels that you normally connect to.
This could either be due to the fact that no menu appears or
alternatively that no option for IRC appears in the contact list. I have

No problem!
Well actually teh only option i have on the dialog in Gnome 3.6 (on the
bottom dash) is to decline the person. They keep attempting to access my
account. In the previous version of Empathy there seemed to be a way to
ignore spammers from contacting you (weird usernames with numbers adn

Public bug reported:
I discovered a strange bug in Empathy (it could have already been
repaired though).
Useful information:
* Empathy starts up automatically when I log in
* Most of the time is starts as Unavailable or Away (I think it restores the
last state)
* MSN chat

Also, to add to this I have now noticed that no matter what only two
entries are allowed. If a new spammer contacts me and I try to block
them the other entries (I had about 4) are erased.
It's pretty messy since they seem to notice that suddenly I am available
and then contact me again...k!
Sure thing... what is interesting is that the first time you attempt to
block someone 'new' it removes others from the list. Then the second
time you add someone it allows for more to be added.
