I believe I'm hitting the same bug, except in karmic (9.10)
The dialog comes up and asks me if I want to replace the existing file:
foo.flac. If I answer "Y", it does so and proceeds to the next file.
If at any of the tracks, I answer "N", I get an error message for every

I have a similar problem with IPP printing that requires authentication,
and I think it's the same bug (or related at least).
I set up the printer (IPP) and the first time I printed I was prompted for a
password, but it worked.
After this, however, I got the authentication error described above.

rsync isn't trying to include .gvfs even with the -x option. It along
with find(1), etc., has to be able to do some things with .gvfs to even
work out it is the mount point of another filesystem and shouldn't be
descended into further. Those things fail in a way that they never
should with Unix s
Even thought the gnome bug has been closed as fixed in Gnome 3, the
solution of having to drag the "menu bar" to another monitor seems
suboptimal to me.
Whenever I hook up an external monitor to my laptop, and have to
explicitly enable it (because I disabled it before) in the Monitor
Preferences,
I chose Close, instead of Change session, since I could not see what
Change session would mean. I got the same results, anyway. As an
experiment, I tried switching to a virtual console and enabling an
nVidia proprietary driver. I hoped that a reboot would then let me run
Unity or something. A
