If you have more than one weather applet, say one for Washington (D.C.)

to Centigrade. The default settings should be picked up from the locale

The weather applet will often become stuck updating its status. Mousing
over the icon while it is updating only shows a tooltip saying
"Updating...". That is much too vague - at least it should mention which
location's data it is updating. T

Weather Report 2.30.0/Ubuntu 10.10
My experience with the weather applet and automatic updates, combined
with suspend/resume, is altogether bad: almost every time after resuming
from suspend the applet will be stuck updating, and I have to update
manually. The worst thing is that the icon does not

I was running a bit low on battery so I tried to suspend my laptop.
Normally I don't have any problems with suspend, but today it took
longer than usual and
After I had recharged the battery a little I tried to reproduce the bug
a couple of times but then it worked fine. Some time later the battery
level had gone down to 33 % and then suspend failed. I'm attaching the
pm-suspend.log from that incident.

Rhythmbox 0.12.0/Ubuntu 9.04
I can easily recreate this problem: I only need to edit the metadata of
a few files in my collection of classical FLAC files. Some changes will
go through but some will not, and Rhythmbox will display a title-less
dialog about an internal GStreamer problem. If I look c

Are you sure this will not only suppress the error message? I think the
15-second timeout I found actually kills the metadata operation
prematurely. You cannot trust the metadata displayed by Rhythmbox after
a metadata operation, since Rhythmbox will update its display
