Still same problem with Ubuntu 12.10 amd64 on Thinkpad T61 with Battery in
Ultrabay.
Also: Remaining time will not show the sum of the two batteries but just the
one that it is currently discharging.

When starting evince from the terminal (using the document first
provided by hennekn) stderr shows some UTF-8 errors
But this seems not to be the very problem since I have several other
documents that are not printed correctly/just first page, that do not
give any error messages.

When pressing the Fn+Home key combination on my lenovo Thinkpad T61
after resuming from standby, backlight changes take approx. 1-2 seconds
to apply. The GNOME brightness osd appears.
