In Dapper the "n pages to 1" issue should be fixed with libgnomeprint
2.12.1-3ubuntu2 from dapper-updates. I'm able to print n-up without problems on

In gnome-system-tools 2.15.5-0ubuntu2 on Edgy the "Activate" and "Deactivate"
buttons have been removed from network-admin.

In Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy I did an apt-get remove xchat-gnome
This error message appears when clicking the xchat-gnome menu entry afterwards.
So this bug is not gnome-app-install specific, adding apt task.
The long term solution would be to fix apt-get and gnome-app-install to
remove unnecessary automat
