This affects me as well. I have tried from my inbuilt DVD writer and an
external USB writer to the same result as described above.

The issue is regarding consistency of presentation and workflow in
Unity. To illustrate:
A new, regular user, accessing their mail for the first time clicks on
the envelope in the top panel and is presented with the evolution
account assistant. - this is not a bug in itself.

I don't think the name is that important. The graphic could be clear
enough to convey the concept to any user of any language if done
cleverly.

I am experiencing that this is not just a hidden error. My Gnome-Do
Docky is badly affected. It seems that it starts up a double process
which causes the dock to disappear at random times, and sometimes not at
all at startup. (a random behaviour). This is worked around by opening
the process manage

I can confirm that this is an issue for me as well in Lucid. I had to
manually enter the password using gconf-editor and then it worked.
