I tried to change the color of this calendar:

This has just happened to me with Maverick beta fully updated.
I don't really know what was I doing. I think that I closed the the
keyboard layout that I opened from the keyboard indicator, and then
presed alt+9.

# Do you use visual effects? (System/Preferences/Appearance/Visual Effects)
# Does the problem still occur if you disable visual effects?

The problem happened just once, so I can't reproduce the issue to get a
backtrace. I'll install the missing debugging symbols just in case it
happens again.
