Notice: copy operation on the array is about 25 MB/s (arry runs on
different 2007 hdds, 30-35 should be normal today on hdds, 100+ on good

I have this (or something simila) on intrepid when trying to start nautilus
remotely via ssh with X-forwarding.
Don't know if it is a seperate bug (as it is on ibex) but anyhow I _have_
localhost set in my host file correctly.

Just my 2 cents (same as in gnome-bugzilla 355152)
Cheap, general solution:
- Make an option available in Gconf to change between "ascii" "natural" (=the
current with respect to numbers that are NOT prefixed with "0" ) and
"dos/win-Style" ( prefixes with . in front of the rest, folders separated")
I personally think the reason is "natural sort order" does:
a) not interpret the german "," decimal separator as such
b) not even aussume fractal base 10 - Numbers to be in a filename
c) therefore, it interprets the number as integer, starting after the "," - so
it sees
something mor like 2-dim

Not much activity here on this bug report any more. I think some recent updates
have changed the bug or obscured the supposed race condition. Amilo A1667G with
Turion x64 does not have the issue any more, Athlon64x2 does not have it, and

However, I also have the problem. Whereas LinuxTSC works fine under XP, but
kills the Applets and Keyboard Layout when connecting to an x64-Arch server

I researched why my applets broke when logging in with LinuxTSC. Big difference
between local display on the machine and remeotely accessing is:
Local, "Visual effects" and "Wobbly Windows" are activated.
I found out that then you cannot name your desktops in the desktop chooser,

but it was all in there

1. I set my XDG_DATA_HOME to ~/.config because another program needed it that
way.
2. I expected both Trash and the place nautilus looked for the trash to

box) and I just get gdm3 crashing I have installed sddm (and lightdm and
one other) and neither gnome shell with Wayland nor X11 will work all
options crash I installed Kde-plasma and that works from sddm
just got a partial upgrade and it's all fixed
