The server is on the LAN, and I specified the host/port from the
Music/Connect to DAAP Share menu, as the share was not automatically

Sorry for subscribing you, but I didn't know if you'd see followup

I am indeed using Gnome, but my /var/crash/ directory is empty, both
when I view it in nautilus as well as cd'ing to it and 'ls -la'ing.

I've been using this installation of Gutsy since Wednesday and I've only
seen this happen since this morning.
I had a look at that other bug; I'm not sure what you'd like me to
update. I tried aptitude reinstall gstreamer0.10-plugins-base, but that
did not fix the issue.
I can, however, confirm t
Not sure if this is definitely the solution, but MP3 playback seems to
be working once again after I got the updated gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
(0.10.6-0ubuntu2).
The esd error still shows in my terminal upon launch, but honestly, I
don't know if that had anything to do with this problem.
