Experiencing this problem in Maverick.
Also releases before 2.11.3 are unsatisfactory because the gthumb upload
pictures from camera function does not work with all cameras before the
re-write of gthumb.
Please re-instate the slide show function within gthumb 2.11.3 and
greater. Thanks.

Thank you for your quick response. I used the URL you provided and:
o installed gthumb 2.12.1
o slideshow not available
o checked extensions, slideshow not available
o "more extensions", slideshow greyed out.
o selected slideshow->enable and slide show became available in the drop down
menu.

1. 100% every time.
2. Procedure:
a) Place blank CD/DVD in drive and wait for the Nautilus dialog to open.
b) Copy/Paste files to the blank CD/DVD folder.
c) Press 'Write to Disk" and wait for the burn to complete.
d) After finishing the burn, Nautilus fails to eject the CD/DVD.

Note also, that in screenshot #6, the DVD icon has disappeared from the
desktop (i.e. the DVD has been unmounted) but the disc was not ejected -
the drawer never opens. Nautilus will not go past this state, except
for termination. Inserting a new blank DVD opens a new Nautilus window
- the old win
