Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
I'm using rhythmbox 0.9.3.1-0ubuntu9 from Ubuntu Dapper.
I can't drag and drop some tracks from the rhythmbox browser into a new
playlist.

nothing happens. The song just doesn't appear in the playlist where i dnd it.
It just happens with some files but all are ripped from the same cd on the same
computer with sound juicer.
I think it has something to do with the characters in the filename. The file
where this problem appears has a

Actually I'm not quite sure if the bug is in evince.
If you open a pdf-file in evince and print it, it is a bit smaller than it
original was, about 95% or so. That is even in the preview. Same thing occurs
if you print the pdf with gimp with the

Binary package hint: seahorse
I have a card reader and a gnupg smartcard to sign and encrypt emails.
If seahorse-agent is running gnupg can't access the smartcard, i get this error
message:
$ gpg --card-status
gpg: selecting openpgp failed: unknown command
gpg: OpenPGP car
If i install gpg-agent and activate it in ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf so that both
gpg-agent and seahorse-agent is running the problem is solved.
So maybe it would be good to install gpg-agent by default if gpg is installed
to make sure people can access their smartcard and use seahorse.

I have the same problem.
Beside my amd64 system i also have a 32bit system. For me the problem only
occurs on the amd64 system so it is probably a special problem of the amd64
architecture.

I have this issue both in 18.10 and 19.04. Using arrows and space does
not work, the only workaround I've found is "sudo software-properties-
gtk". Would be happy to provide any details that could be useful.

Agreed, the low activity could be because the bug is confirmed,
reproduced and set at high priority. Most users who face the same issue
(myself included) won't see any reason to add to the issue when a
solution seems to be on its way.

Well, let's put it this way: I never did anything do enable compositing ;). So,
yes, I think I am using metacity without compositing.
And gDesklets does not support compositing yet (AFAIK).
Even worse: I think to remember that there were problems running gDesklets with
compositing on... :(.

Selecting any of the folders in the "Places" Menu of the Gnome panel has
no effect. Selecting "Computer" in Places brings up the file browser

I have solved the problem: I have deactivated in the cups-Apparmor-

I think I have a similar problem with all applications: they don't

(OK, frequently), they resize themselves, either they snap to the real
fullscreen, or they snap back from the fullscreen to the partial
fullscreen.
