i can confirm that there is again a problem with login in to icq.
but this time it is only for ssl connections: disabling SSL in pidgin "fixes"
it.
either it's a temporary problem with the ssl icq servers, or this is a new bug
and should be treated as such.

monitor and tried to manually "duplicate" my bottom panel on the 2nd monitor.
indicator applets seems to work well == all icons are on both panels.
window list seem to work ok (only windows located on the monitor where the
unsurprisingly in maverick/10.10 the problem persists.

this is still an annoying problem in lucid with gnome while running
buggy/verbose software. the file needs to be truncated in realtime and should
be disabled or put on a ramdisk for ssd users imho. this potentially breaks the
users' hardware in the long run without anything being really broken (
is there/will there be an option to configure/disable the new behavior (besides
changing themes)?
if not there will be some very sad people (including me).
(id like to always show them in focused windows or get the old behavior back).
should i file a new bug report/enhancement request?

the description is not correct. it does not jump to the top but to the
folder, that is currently in view (or the most "further" parent
directory, thats still visible, if the current folder is no longer
viewable in the tree because its parent dir was collapsed... bit
complicated to explain sorry :)
a similar problem exists in the horizontal domain: i have the clock applet on
the lower right. if you hover the mouse over the time string below a location,
the "set" button appears. if the time string is too wide, the appearance of
this button will resize the whole applet window. in my case it
well... it's still/again so in jaunty and karmic.
the tooltips are very nice for new users, but they are a pain, if you read them
once.
it annoys me the most, that the tooltips spread not only over the desktop
switcher itself but also over all my tray icons... i dont see if there are new
message
