Every time a new GNOME session starts (e.g. after a system restart), the
arrangement of icons in the main panel is
(a) Pseudo-random in order and
(b) Sometimes broken, with buttons duplicated, overlapping, truncated or not
displayed at all.

Please note that the keyboard layout indicator 2nd incarnation that
seemed to be "behind" the wireless indicator icon fixed itself (after
some momentary "jigging") a couple of minutes into the GNOME session.

Also, I can confirm the bug in 10.04 i386. Changing the password to
something cracklib doesn't like results in a hung GUI, with no "your
password is too simple/similar" feedback.
