We just asked a KDE user on irc to test and ALT+PrScr does _not_ take a
screenshot for him (running Lucid with backported KDE packages). Indeed
in the keyboard configuration screen on Kubuntu it refused to accept
ALT+PrScr as a valid keypress.

I experienced this problem this morning on karmic. I then did as Chris
suggested, setting the gconf value, installing debug symbols and
changing the setting to the .desktop file. When I logout/in or reboot I
now no longer get a crash with g-s-d

After an update and a reboot I can't reproduce it, but before the reboot

I just right clicked the Nautilus icon in the launcher and removed it.
Then re-launch nautilus from the dash, and move the icon up the list.

gdm-user-switch-applet has no shutdown option. I see 'Quit..' which if I
select gives me two options:-
Logout
Switch User
I don't want to do either of those things, I want to shutdown or
restart. See screenshot.

I am now running karmic, and do still get the problem. One battery is
low, the other has lots of juice left, yet gpm spams me with
notifications telling me my battery is low.

Seems like a regression, bug 33991 and bug 3626 explain the same
behaviour.
Basically if I suspend the laptop it goes to sleep fine, i then hit the
power (or shut/open lid) whereupon the laptop wakes then immediately
suspends again. I
