Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Seems like a regression, bug 33991 and bug 3626 explain the same behaviour. Basically if I suspend the laptop it goes to sleep fine, i then hit the power (or shut/open lid) whereupon the laptop wakes then immediately suspends again. I have to wake it again to get the screensaver password prompt. Have attached the result of doing:- gnome-power-manager --no-daemon --verbose > /tmp/gpm-trace ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: gnome-power-manager 2.24.0-0ubuntu13 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-power-manager Uname: Linux 2.6.28-5-generic i686 ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- [jaunty] system re-suspends itself after wake from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/321813 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
