Hello, I am experiencing the same issue in all my 24.04 deployments. I also see
the syslog:
gnome-shell[3551]: Cursor update failed: drmModeAtomicCommit: Invalid argument
After applying the workaround
MUTTER_DEBUG_FORCE_KMS_MODE=simple
The issue is solved.
In my case, I don't have multiple

Public bug reported:
I recently updated to Oracular (24.10), and I'm using xrdp for remote
access. The access fails with this error:
expected xrdp client_info version 20230425, got 20210723
The problem seems to stem from the fact that xrdp package in Oracular is
0.9.24-5, while xorgxrdp is 0.10.

Hi Timo,
the 6.5 OEM was based off Mantic 6.5 kernel + a consistent number of OEM
patches applied on top, and it's hard to determine if the baseline
kernel regressed (moving from 6.5 to 6.8) or if we missed/dropped some
of those OEM patches.
Would you mind testing this kernel?

these, and this particular laptop is already now going to be with a user
that I can't that easily reach. Since the user really needs the feature,
I enabled LTS upgrades and switched to 24.04, hopefully without any
other regressi

The laptop shipped with Lenovo's 6.5.0-1019-oem, but upon upgrades
