That red is actually orange, which is part of the system theme design.
I don't think most screens would show it as very red so this should not
be a common complaint. Certainly this is the first time I've heard it,
but it is understandable.

are actually two different extensions so it's understandable that they

I’m using a US keyboard which is set up to switch between English and
polytonic Greek.

choice, is that it sounds like PulseAudio clients can block the sound of
the entire server.

This might be related to the fact that some HDMI ports are only
connected to the Nvidia GPU and others only connected to Intel. That's
normal, but might not be the only factor here.
To help us diagnose it further please run this command to collect more

Thanks. The only slow things I can see in those logs relate to:
* gnome-system-monitor snap - If you don't need it then please
uninstall it. This might also be a problem with your wifi.
* DNS failures from your network provider - Please check your network
settings or try using the Google DNS
