In Ubuntu 18.04, there appears to be an issue with the alignment of the
shown "Date" in the locked screen, i.e. `.screen-shield-clock-date{}` in
`/usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css`. It sometimes appear center-
aligned and sometimes left-aligned w.r.t `.screen-shi
I discovered the trigger for the misalignment, i.e. it occurs when
`Tweaks-->Top Bar-->Seconds` is set to be `True`.

docking station, sometimes after switching users or logging back in
after a suspend, the gnome-shell password dialog is asking for the
harddrive's password for decryption.

Un-locking the screen/desktop now also takes much longer than it used
to. After correctly entering the password or scanning a fingerprint,
nothing happens for a long time, and then eventually the screen is
