i've been experiencing the same issues this a week or two.
I'm using Ub 10.04 since May 2010.
Evolution 2.28.3
3 imap accounts, and 2 pop.
Disabling "default sources" didn't solved the problem.
I though about the large amount of emails i had, so did some clean up.
Unsuccessful.

I have the same problem with f-spot 0.8.0 when importing .ORF files from
an Olympus E1. The thumbnails in the importer show with date 01/01/0001,
and then f-spot crashes when you click Import.
If you subsequently try to open f-spot, it crashes with the error

decided to switch off ssl on the server side. So: mc-tool update
bool:use-ssl=0 does the trick for empathy.

Just a note, compiz seems to do a slightly better job of remembering
window positions than metacity, but only for some apps it seems.
Positioning of Audacious (mp3 player) was terrible under metacity, but
under compiz it's perfect. See duplicate bug #409539.

transfers the files but somehow "loses" the .mp3 extension in the
process. The files themselves are not damaged, because they work fine if
I transfer them on the ipod using itunes on windows after re-adding the

I am not sure this is a gnome-power-manager issue by itself. I
experience this same issue using an ATI Radeon 8500 video card in Ubuntu
10.04. Unfortunately, I can test it in Ubuntu 10.10, maverick, because
it shuts my video, keyboard, mouse off before I can get the grub menu.

As Robert Collins pointed out, I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (sorry forget
mention that). Evince came with Ubuntu. With these info, one should be
easy to reproduce the bug.
Actually, xpdf installed by 'synaptic' or 'apt-get' in Ubuntu also had
key-lag problem (pages moving lag much behind key strokes
