The update shows the following results on my Dell mini:
At resolution 160x120:
- Pause of about 4s where no video is displayed
- Between 4-7s erratic frame rate
- 7s+ reliable video
At 1280x1024
- Occasionally frame shown (>15s per frame)
It seems an improvement on the 14s delay previously seen.
Okay, Martin Pitt recommended that this bug is not appropriate for an
SRU. Well, it will go into maverick straight away!

As for the Pause being displayed in English problem, it is a temporary
fault as the translation templates have just been generated from the
source, and shall be fixed by the time Maverick is released. Only the
button size problem is valid.

The normal user, to me, has already decided to use Ubuntu, and despite the

phisical machine it doesn't work, even after the reinstall as you wrote
it. Maybe there is something with my config files in /home/imi, but
