I have a similar problem in Evolution, and it might be the same bug.
I got an email with a number of attachment, clicked "Save all" and
selected the folder in the bottom of the file chooser, and the folder
gets highlighted. Clicking up arrow once keeps the selected line
highlighted, but a new ligh

Yes, It seems to be reproducable with both radio stations on Lucid.
The gaps appear to be pretty random but it is never much more than 5
every 30 seconds, but varies from 0 to 5 from playing for a few minutes.

I experienced this bug also. Got it while Opera crashed, it apperantly
took down gnome-settings-daemon in the fall. Starting gnome-settings-
daemon again makes things go back to normal. Is there any place I can
find crash log for this app?

(as I have no idea what set it off to begin with) I have been unable to
replicate it.

I created an SD DVD with 2 languages, playing it with Totem and going to
Sound -> Languages shows empty. I double checked with VLC and playing it
on an actual DVD player, in both causes the languages showed up.

Have since upgraded to 10.04 and have choosen a different access

I too have this same problem, using {Ubuntu 10.04, Chrome 5.0.375.86
beta, Nautilus 2.30.1}
Here is a temporary workaround to this problem, simply by re-naming all the
files:
1) Open up the terminal and cd into the directo

* debian/gvfs-bin.install: Install bash completion into the correct
directory. Add debian/gvfs-bin.preinst to clean up on upgrades.

After getting really frustrated with this bug, I spent most of 4th of
July weekend wading knee-deep in gnome-session and gnome-screensaver
code, but I finally rooted out the bugs behind this. There are two

This happened to me in maverick.
It happens every time I restart the applet.
The avg_simple_quotes_change attribute is only created on this object on
a particular code path through populate() so it should be easy to fix
this by just tracing through the logic path that causes it to be unset.

sudo apparmor_parser -r -W -T /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.evince
These bugs are because Ubuntu doesn't allow evince to execute 3rd apps
for security reasons, only the ones explicitally authorized by app
I describe a workaround which seems to have fixed the problem for me here:
