This is a very useful function for users which have not jabber account
yet, they just don't know how to create an account if their client
doesn't support it.
Some other clients have this feature which works fine, so I think this

As mentioned upstream, it seems that evince is now remembering layout
settings on a per-document basis, and applying arbitrary defaults to new
documents. If you were testing by opening the same document several
times, that would explain why you didn't notice the problem.

cpufreq-selector never hangs, it is just very slow if issued this way: 'sudo
cpufreq-selector -c 1 -g performance'

I confirm that using fingerprints the same behaviour appears as I

Using pam thinkfinger g-k-d does not have --login:

Tried Gonzalo's fix to no avail.
My system is a Toshiba L305-S5919 laptop (came with Vista Home Basic which I
obliterated). Fresh installed 9.04, then upgraded to 9.10, then upgraded (?) to
10.04.
Couple things got broke, but this "Cannot connect to / browse Windows Shares"

setting double-click to maximize vertically on a system without compiz
(on lucid 10.04) does maximize the window. double-clicking again
sometimes does not unmaximize the window -- this state will remain until
you unmaximize the window

upgraded to version 2.30.1, and haven't experienced any issues so far.
