Using Xubuntu Lucid Lynx, updated as of 2010-03-12, this bug appears to
have been fixed. I can now use both Alt and Super to set my keyboard

Does it still make sense to do this for Lucid? There are lots of
interesting warts here: for example, it's important to make sure that
it's possible to set the proxy in control-center in a live session and
have that apply to the installation, since there's no other way to set a
proxy during instal
I tryed to reproduce it based on Jeff's description (just like Dan did)
and discovered 2 things:
1.) unlike Dan: I did not had the "endless loading" bug anymore
2.) but same like Dan: there was no hidden folder created on disk (checked, too)
Furthermore I did not even had this bug in normal workf

Well I'd just say that for Nautilus to now see that image as 708+MB
makes one think that it will not fit on a 700MB CD. Also before reading
this I installed Thunar and I see it still reads the image as 675.5MB.

installed it? You may remove the -dbgsym package before if that causes
problems. Also, instead of running GDebi on my package, you can call
