All i have to do is copy a conversation from one tab to another tab. The
screenshot shows me talking to someone else, with that conversation then
copied in to a third partie's window. The result is that it really is
not clear who said what.

I think this bug should be reopened and reassigned, perhaps to the
package responsible for the System menu.
The problem initially reported is not that Yelp is slow, but that the
"About Ubuntu" action is slow.
in xubuntu when clicked shutdown button to choose from menu also all is
bluish. maybe a little more transperancy should be added.

this is what I do not get - apport did not send `.crash' file, thus I had
attached it to the report manually. You still suggest that `.crash' is
missing or invalid.

I have performed a lot of experiments with this bug and found out that
when a panel in Ubuntu or Mint is set to non-expanded mode, then at
various times (unpredictable), window buttons will fail to be visible.
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koal
