I just came across this because I was having similar problems with my 8GB Sony

I am sorry, I am not able to test the new version withthat laptop, because it
broke down 3 times due to the same problem and I got a new laptop. Which works
much better with Ubuntu.

Ok, sorry for posting a bug report, my suspicion that I was too dumb to find
the place where drafts are stored turned out to be correct :S
Seems like they are stored by default under "Drafts" in the local account. A
bit confusing though...
