in Gutsy I named workspaces by right-clicking on workspace switcher
(sitting on my deskbar), and choosing "preferences".
Now on Hardy 8.04, if I right-click on workspace switcher>preferences, I
get what you see on the hardy.png also attached UNLES
Not sure how this ended up being assigned to compiz. The problem is that
the workspace switcher does not support viewports so only sees 1 virtual
desktop and thus you cannot name the compiz viewports.
Note that viewports/virtual desktops do not get a name attached to them

I just wanted to add that I believe Nautilus is being loaded but a
browser window is not displayed. I came to this conclusion because
Nautilus has very high memory usage (~150mb) without any browser being
open. This is unusual for my setup and only happened after I reproduced
this bug.

I've attached a proposed patch to gnome-terminal.xml to update the help
on how to go about disabling a keyboard shortcut. This would just need
translations for the other available languages.

Yes. I'm running an up to date karmic (9.10) with GNOME 2.28.1. It
occurs if one of my nautilus windows has an extra tab opened. I work
around this by not using tabs in my nautilus windows. It limits my work
but at least I can count on my windows being where I last left them when
