Could you just confirm for me that foo.zip attached is not password
protected? I cannot extract individual files or decompress the entire
archive without being prompted for a password. If the archive is

I have found the reason.
The df output is correct.
I use du to find out a big file (23GB) in /var, while the "Disk Usage Analyzer"
only report /var with 308.8MB.

That value just tells gdm how long to wait for X to start up before
deciding that X has hung, to kill it and try starting it again. So my
guess is that if the machine is slow:
1. X takes longer to start than GdmXserverTimeout allows, because other
background processes started during boot are
confirmed, the testcase in the GCC testsuite still fails
