Hello.. I waited a lot of time, and now I could restart gnome-panel
without it coming crashed...
I've found out that if I open the applet window, it crashes. So I made

I have this issue as well; fresh install, 9.10 release, amd64, Dell
Inspiron 1521 dual booting with Windows 7. At first, I though this
message had something to do with Windows 7 (perhaps Win7 does crazy
things with disk partitions?). Glad to see it's actually -not-

Yeah applying the patch (submitted by Ricardo) to the source of
system-tools-backends works very nice.
This is what i did:
1.- sudo apt-get source system-tools-backends and decompress it.
2.- sudo patch /home/jfoc/system-tools-backends-2.8.2/Users/Users.pm <
../Descargas/fix-deleting-users.pa
Sorry, it seems the sound is working: I guess the real problem is that I
wasn't able to here a sound, when showing a video on myvideo.de with the
adobe flash plugin installed (which still doesnt work). Sorry again for
the confusion.

I was able to forcefully reproduce the error instead of waiting for it
to happen on it's own. Of course I was running Banshee at the time I
did this. I'll need to try this in Rythmbox and Songbird later to
