Hi all. I can reproduce this bug on the Karmic beta EVERY time if I
press the "Next Month"/"Previous Month" buttons enough. Sometimes it
only takes one press - sometimes several.

Hi there,
It's not exactly the case, as it says 8bit. Message is automatically
forwarded from GMail and by using GMail settings. The strange situation
is that this is very irregular. I got only 4 e-mails like that so far,

I might be experiencing the same thing on Karmic Koala Beta. I didn't look for
the left and right options at first, so I cannot tell if they were there and
disappeared. All I know is that it is gone now, leaving just the options
'Normal' and 'Upside Down' for Rotation.
The first thing I did
I've also got an MSI Wind U-100 and have the same problem with UNR
Karmic: the brightness keeps oscillating. This seems limited to these
models, then, although I never experienced the issue with UNR Jaunty.
Changing the brightness with the function keys doesn't stop the problem
in my case.

I seem to have the same problem, the "Update to this" message you've sent I
think it's because the system has to learn how long your battery lasts before
giving accurate results.

XPS M1530. When I unplug the AC it go

Of course it might be possible to quickfix by using a env-variable.
At the end it harms the ubuntu-experience thou.

I was also having this problem with a brother MFC885CW on a current
Jaunty.

seems to have fixed it.

Yes, along with gnome-session and gnome-power-manager.
I did some further testing, and indeed, eog causes the same kinds of
problems as totem did: if you use fullscreen once, you won't have
working session idling (ie: eog doesn't uninhibit, it seems) until you
logout.

I think the bug 's only affect some specific subtitle files, I have the
same bug but when I try open another movie with same type of
subtitle(srt) it seems to be ok. This attachment 's the srt file that
has problem opening.

For me this happens with every subtitle i tried.
I don't think this is a subtitle issue since loading the subtile once the movie
is playing all is fine.
