are "divergent opinions" on this bug - everyone is pretty much saying
the same thing - copy/paste in linux is laughably broken and has been
for many years.
A potential issue with this is, how will it behave when you have "single
click to activate" preference enabled?

destination directory and comparing files, which Nautilus doesn't do
while copying/moving; we just handle errors/exceptions as they occur and
use early outs like free space to determine whether to continue.

I am very sorry to state that the problem is not fixed in Jaunty (32
bits). I just did the test, make a a new folder and copy messages to it
until you are going to get over 2GB. Then you get the "Cannot append
message to mbox file:

Added hundred paper cuts as I feel this is a major issue with new users.
I have read many articles written by journalists who are discovering
Linux for the first time via Ubuntu, and they have all commented that
playing a DVD film just doesn't work, and the OS doesn't offer any help
to allow this.
cups 1.3.9-17ubuntu3.2 with poppler 0.10.5-1ubuntu2.2 works for me. The
PDFs are now printed correctly in duplex and the font do not have
spurious lines. Printing pictures with eog works, too (after upgrading
the RAM of the printer).

I keep thinking they can easily add and option for 12 hours clock. It is
easy to do, it would benefit a lot of ubuntu users -specially from latin
america-, and it would not afect usability of any user since the default
clock setting could stay unchanged. We just want and easy way -normal

Nautilus loads the trash for a while and then shows empty folder. It
does not print anything about this to the terminal if launched manually.
Thunar and Dolphin show files in trash instantly.
