Twisted Lincoln, Inc.: Ad. 1. Default installation contains the trash in a panel, so that should do the "teaching" stuff, but... I'm pretty sure that Windows has a recycle bin too! And 99% of Windows users is familiar with a concept :)
Ad. 2. I'm not good in English, but since I haven't seen an easy ext3/ext4 file recovery tool, and the item isn't named "Delete securely", IMHO this would be a good term.
