file" gives the selected file format and printing to a CUPS queue sends
PDF. The output fioles are also small and do not have text converted to

I'm not sure it's gnome-terminal or sudo fault, but whenever I start in
gnome terminal a sudo operation, and (while sudo is still alive) I
choose to open another tab, I get chdirred to /

I am little confused. After difficulty with Brasero reading DVD, I have
tried to burn DVD with the default Ubuntu burning program. I am not sure
about its name, the system calls it "Burning CD and DVD" which is shown
after inserting DVD. Burning was okay with this tool. Does it mean both

It happens to me pretty much everywhere there is a right click menu.
Happens both in my Inspiron 700M notebook and my desktop.
It can be dangerous depending on what the menu item under the cursor does.

Just seeing this today (after a boot). Compiz was disabled on boot, but
doing compiz --replace starts it up, and it works.
Trying to enable desktop effects returns the desktop effects could not
be enabled message.

I can't edit some menu items whereas I can edit some others. I can't
figure how it is determined that one position can or cannot be edited.
For example, now I'm unable to edit Firefox entry, but I can view
properties of the Thunderbird one.
