nevertheless, but the difficulty in finding a "heavy" pdf comes from the
fact that not all pdfs have drag-able images. I have many scanned books
that have high resolution graphics embedded. However, these pages are

I think this is quite a sad approach to this. There's a *huge* wealth of
information nautilus can display and can use emblems for.
Saying "we need the icons to be more inutitive" is good. But saying
"Better icons negates the need for tooltips" is just plain wrong.

Regarding CDs: can't we control what happens when the user hits the
eject button? If there's still data to be written we could conceivably
hold it up and warn the user about the problem. I don't see any need to
"unmount" a cd though (similar to how you don't need to eject a USB
stick)

No, they should look like folders, not like any other 'object'. The only
good way to do this, is to do new icons like the folder-home icon. It
will take more time, but I don't think we are in a hurry to change these
icons...

dialog, asking me to provide my password (for a gvfs daemon in the

Sorry, that's because so many people reported this bug, developers are
