Yes, it is reproducible. Just start "inotifywait -r -m /home/ | grep screen"
and wait for 10 minutes or so. I get something like:

Well, I have exactly the same problem. I upgraded from Intrepid to Jaunty and
now I can't play any video in Totem, VLC, Dragon, etc.
Does any have some news about how to solve this issue?

I shut my computer down - evolution was minimized to awn - when I restarted

was 2.6.30-rc6.
Results were identical to the standard Jaunty kernel. ie. Lid close is detected

I can confirm this bug. On a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 I am being
asked for the passphrase every time I attempt to log in on the command
line.
The bug is *NOT* configuration specific as I have hardly changed any
configurations at all.

Well, the fact that there is a workaround (well, not really; putting the
whole forwarded message as a monolithic attachment sucks) does not
invalidate this bug. This doesn't happen with other mimetypes such as
.xls, and is downright confusing.

What is the point of hiding the mount point of these shares from the users?
Nautilus should be consistent in its treatment of filesystems, and mount
network drives in the same way as it mount USB drives - namely in /media .
Right now there is no way to access those drives from other applications
