I have an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS/PCI/SSE2, and use the latest nvidia-
glx-180 drivers (180.37). I'm not quite sure about the specific monitor
model, but it's has a 1280x800 pixel resolution.

dialogue wouldn't be on top of the video, blocking it from view, and

There's nothing that gnome-media can do about this. The other capplet is
part of gnome-control-center. The only way around it would be to split
the old capplet away from gnome-control-center in to its own package,
but it's probably a bit late in the cycle for making changes like that.

Setting a panel as transparent through its properties in Ubuntu Jaunty
no longer works correctly. Applets on the panel keep a grey background.
They do not have a transparent background. Logging out and back in again
does not fix the problem.

OK, I found some mpeg's that work. I can also take one of the "broken"
ones and run it through ffmpeg with:
ffmpeg -i broken.mpg -acodec copy -vcodec copy fixed.mpg
And the resulting file plays fine. The only obvious difference is that
the (broken) original shows 0 (zero) audio channels whereas t
same problem for me, huge problem...I go into my video folder and
nautilus instantly starts chewing up my memory. Within 10 seconds it's
frozen (eats up 2 gigs of RAM). Thanks for the hard work

I've done what Kim did, except after a hibernate and resume (while
evolution was running) it happens again. The imap server is on localhost
(which was dovecot, and so that too was hibernated and resumed too). I
really don't want to move away stuff again because that would make
evolution to refetch

That's incorrect. gthumb works just fine with libgphoto2, as long as
GVFS doesn't interfere by mounting the camera to desktop.

If you do something like this:

write()
fsync()
fstat()
close()
They all return before the write even finishes. This is most obvious
when writing over slow connections. And they do not return any errors as

I can confirm this behavior. The behavior of Ctrl+C has changed silently
in jaunty, people might not even notice that they have configured ctrl+c
as a 'copy' shortcut.
It should change back to the previous behaviour (send ctrl+c signal if
no text is selected for copy) OR some mention of the change
